Bearcraft
| It’s twilight in the woods, where nature and the imagination run wild and unbridled. This is the domain of Bearcraft. Bearcraft is singer/musician/programmer/songwriter Dicky Moore and combines spectral synths and electro beats with pagan, scientific, philosophical and English folk themes. Bearcraft’s debut single The Werewolf, displays the perfect union of Bearcraft’s formative influences – with hypnotic drum patterns, Gallic disco basslines and cool, disembodied vocals. Dicky Moore has already held great company in the international music scene after touring the UK, North America and Japan with Scritti Politti, as well as performing with that band at the 2006 Mercury Music Prize ceremony.
Bearcraft’s debut album, Yestreen, is a fantastical, mathematical combination of electro uppers and haunting melodies, with reference points as various as clairvoyance, altered states, barn owls, werewolves, castles, empty barns and retro physics theories. The Werewolf by bearcraft |
